Before founding Jones Pet Services in 2019, Ashlyn worked in kennels and boarding facilities. She loved the animals — but she didn't love what the kennel environment did to them. The constant barking. The strange smells. Pets stressed in places that were nothing like home.
She knew there had to be a better way.
Jones Pet Services exists for one simple reason: pets do best in the place they already feel safe — their own home. No kennel noise. No unfamiliar cages. Just calm, consistent care in the environment they already love.

Ashlyn founded Jones Pet Services in 2019 after years working in kennels and boarding facilities. With more than 30 years around animals, she's cared for every kind of pet — from puppies and seniors on medication, to reptiles, birds, and even horses. Calm, patient, and detail-oriented, she's the reason families trust us with their most important family members.
Charley is Ashlyn's wife and co-owner of Jones Pet Services. Together, they're the faces of the business — the people you'll meet, talk with, and trust. They share their home with eight pets of their own, so when we say "we treat your pets like family," we mean it.
While Ashlyn and Charley personally handle most visits, our small team also includes a few carefully vetted sitters who help out during busy seasons. Every sitter is hand-picked, trained by Ashlyn, and committed to the same standards: in-home care, daily photo updates, and pets first.
We share our home with five cats, two dachshund/pitbull mixes (Knox and Simba), and our pitbull Vito. Eight pets. One household. We know exactly what it takes to keep a busy multi-pet home running — and we treat your home the same way.
